Her adoption fee is $975.00. Cienna is a mere 16 months old and 6.8 pounds. She just had a haircut and is a new puppy! Glamour just drips off her. However, she IS a pup and has that energy. She is curious about every new thing offered. If you open a drawer, she will try to identify its contents. Same thing with the fridge and dishwasher. Bookshelves are in danger if they are low enough to allow her teeth to find an edge. So far, she is not a fan of grooming. However, when she is being lathered with soap, she appears to go into a trance and loves it. We plan on lots of brushing sessions to get her used to it. She eats well. She was brought up in an apartment and was probably trained to pee pads since she will not do her business in the yard yet. Bring her inside and she’ll find a pee pad too use. We are working on that. She is learning to sleep quietly through the night in her playpen. It’s only been a few days and she’s gotten almost perfect. She gets along fine with other dogs her size. We have not exposed her to larger dogs yet. Cienna is beautiful, loving and young and staying in New Canaan, CT with Mary Anne and Michael.

In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term.
