Dog Breed: Shetland Sheepdog Sheltie / Corgi / Mixed (medium coat). Adoption Fee: 350.. SIERRA is a fluffy short stack mixed breed girl looking for a home. She's a beautiful girl, around 2 years old and fully grown at 32 lbs. Sierra's breed mix is a mystery, she has a beautiful medium length coat, short legs and a long body. We have all kinds of breed guesses. Some Sheltie? Corgi? Aussie? and where did she get that long and low body? We have no clue, all we know is she's sweet and adorable. She's a friendly girl who likes to meet new friends. She loves to run and romp with her doggy pals and is best suited to a home where she will have a dog playmate and a physically fenced yard. She walks well on a leash. Sierra was dumped in a parking lot with 2 other dogs, Bravo is also available for adoption. Sadly the other dog was hit by a car and killed before he could be caught. SIerra has plenty of young dog energy, even though she's fluffy she's not ready to be a lap dog. You can meet Sierra at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate. Our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
