Lucy & Ricky Need Your Help Meet Lucy and Ricky, two 14-year-old Basset Hound–Terrier mixes who recently came to Rainbow Bridge Hospice Rescue after their 93-year-old mom entered hospice care. These two sweet souls have spent their entire lives together, and we promised their mom we’d make sure they’re safe, loved, and cared for. ❤️ When they arrived, we believed they were up to date on their vet care — but we’ve since learned they haven’t seen a vet in several years. Both need vaccinations, exams, bloodwork, and other basic care to get them healthy and comfortable again. Lucy is shy and gentle, slowly learning to trust and come out of her shell. Ricky, true to his namesake, is full of life and charm — friendly, outgoing, and always ready for a cuddle. We can’t do this without you.
