Description

Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (medium coat). Sprinkle is a sweet, spunky pittie mix with a heart full of love and just the right dash of goofiness. She was found dumped with a small group of nine other pitties. Even in that stressful situation, she stood out as a gentle, friendly girl. She formed a special bond with her pals Twila and Tadpole, and she still has that loyal, pack-loving spirit. Sprinkle was recently returned to the shelter after her previous home wasn't the best fit for her energy and play style with younger children. She's now getting lots of support from a dedicated volunteer, helping her regain confidence and rediscover her happy, bouncy self. She would thrive in a home with older, dog-savvy kids who can match her gentle, playful nature. She's shy in the shelter setting and takes a little time to warm up, but once she trusts you, she’s all love. Sprinkle is potty trained, crate trained, and can easily switch between being a playful pup and a total couch potato. She loves to roughhouse with other dogs! It’s just her natural play style and she absolutely lights up when she's with canine friends. She does great with smaller dogs too and would be happiest in a home with another friendly dog to keep her company. Sprinkle enjoys walks, rolling in the grass, and savoring her pup cups for happy hours. She can cuddle, settle down nicely, and always aims to please. With her gentle heart, resilience, and loving nature, Sprinkle just needs a patient adopter who'll give her time, understanding, and the chance to shine again. Sprinkle would do best in a calm, patient home where her adopters understand her personality and give her the space to feel safe and loved. She's a resilient, affectionate girl who's ready to start fresh and show someone just how wonderful she is. All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months). All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control.
