You won’t find him on dating apps, but we’ve got a way better option for you… Meet Jake! Big feet, bigger heart, beautiful blue eyes, and the BEST swipe right of your life! He’s a 4 month old, 42 lb mystery mutt of perfection. He’s got the brain of a scholar, the heart of a teddy bear, and the coordination of a baby giraffe. Don’t fret, he will be a large guy. Jake is the total package and checks all the boxes. He’s housebroken, crate trained, LOVES other dogs of all sizes, plays hard and then crashes in your lap, walks well on a leash, knows “sit” and “lay down”, and is very treat motivated. Due to his puppy energy and size, he’s not a great match for toddlers (he’ll jump like the puppy he is), but bigger kids would absolutely love him. He’d thrive in an active home with a young, playful dog buddy or a tolerant adult dog to show him the ropes. Basically, Jake is that floppy, affectionate, slightly awkward best friend you didn’t know you needed. He’s ready for continued puppy training classes…train him how you like ‘em! He’s fully vetted and vaccinated, microchipped, on preventatives, and will be neutered by one of our partner vets when age appropriate. Due to this, his adoption must be local. All of our animals are in volunteer foster homes. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. At that time we are happy to answer all of your questions. No inquiries prior to that please. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals.
