Dog Breed: Black Labrador Retriever / Mixed (medium coat). Please contact ADOPTION (adoptdoggieharmony) for more information about this pet. Truman loves to play and take walks. He loves to run around and play outside so a fenced in yard would be great. Toys are the best thing ever but cuddling is at the top on his list of favorites. He is a very large lap dog. Truman is a great cuddle baby during Tv time and bedtime. He really is an amazing boy and would love to have a forever home with his forever family that will love him as much as he will love them. Age: 3 years Weight: 90 lbs Temperament: Gets along with other dogs and sturdy kids Training: Housetrained, crate-trained obedience-trained? A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics.
