Dog Breed: Chihuahua / Dachshund / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: $425. Meet our adorable little Slinky, a 5-month-old, 12 pound bundle of wiggles and joy! True to his name, Slinky is full of energy and loves to bounce, twist, and play his way through the day. This looooong little fun guy was a stray with his mama so we are not sure of his past but we do his mama took good care of him and he's healthy and happy but not needs a family to call his own! Slinky is a smart little sweetie and has already mastered walking nicely on a leash and loves exploring the world around him. He is hard at work on his potty and crate training, but he’s a quick learner and eager to please. He's learning life can be full of love, snuggles and toys and will be a great match for any family! With his happy-go-lucky personality and endless enthusiasm, Slinky is sure to bring laughter and love to his forever home! You can apply to meet and adopt Slinky at .HavenAnimalRescueNebraska. They must all be trained with positive reward based training and all are all up to date with vaccinations, altered, microchipped, HeartWorm tested, and on preventatives. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. At that time we are happy to answer all of your questions. No inquiries prior to that please. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals.
