Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat). Zia is a beautiful girl who is looking for a home. Zia is with our partner rescue in NC but can come to NJ if we find a foster or adopter. We do offer a foster to adopt trial for approved adopters. Zia was found as a stray with her sis, Rue. She is a friendly girl who is very submissive with people and other dogs. Zia did great on her dog test and is currently kenneled with her sister due to lack of space. Zia is up to date on vaccines. She tested negative for heartworm. If we find a foster or adopter, we will try to get Zia fixed and microchipped before coming to NJ but we may need to fix her here. Her adoption fee is $550. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption.
