Dog Breed: Beagle / Mixed. Gilligan is a 3-year-old beagle with a nose for fun and a heart full of love! This active, goofy guy is always ready to explore the world—whether it’s sniffing out trails on a walk, playing with his favorite toys, or just hanging out with his people. True to his beagle nature, Gilligan is curious, smart, and always up for an adventure (bonus points if treats are involved!). He would thrive in a home that can give him regular exercise, mental stimulation, and lots of affection. A fenced yard or an active lifestyle would be a big plus for this fun-loving pup. Gilligan is looking for a forever family who will embrace his zest for life and include him in the action. He’s ready to be your hiking buddy, your couch companion, and your best friend. You can also find a description of our process on that same page. Puppies will not be available to be seen until their 10-day quarantine has passed. Our adoption fees are listed on our website and cover the cost of the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots and tests, medications to bring the dog to full health, and a free visit with one of our approved vets after adoption. Most dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers so there is often very little known about their history or current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. CCRC has a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this, and we have trainers who will offer free phone/email support.
