Description
Dog Breed: Belgian Shepherd Malinois. Who wants their very own #MADBear? He's in CA and as sweet as can be, he doesn't ask much just a soft place to sleep. And stuffies galore, and more, more, more, more. He's a kindly old fellow, about 12's what we think. So no puppy zoomies, but he IS still a Mal, smile wink wink He loves to walk and is friendly with all, and he still really loves to play with a ball. So please open your home and your hearth and your heart, and make some room for sweet ole MADBear to play his part Mr. Bear is the perfect friend for those that love the Malinois personalities but who maybe don't have all the space, energy or time. He loves his walks, doesn't pull much except when he does his lil poop dance. Squirrels catch his attention but he knows his chasing days are behind him. Fetch? Bring a water bowl with him outside and he'll play and rest with you all day. Sign him up - he loves his sports and playing. Just don't expect your ball back. No big yard required, he's happy fetching a few feet or across the yard. He likes finding toys too, hide them around the yard or house and wake up to a collection of them next to him in the morning. If you wanna see a cute little dance nothing gets this good boy excited more than treats, meal time and walks. He was someone's loving best friend for many years and now he's looking for someone else to enjoy his golden years with. Full of love and Malinois spirit, he's a man that's happy having his bed, toys and a home to call his own. Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
