Description
Dog Breed: Terrier / Mixed. Available for Adoption! Meet Tati! Tati is a sweet, playful pup with a gentle spirit and a fun-loving personality. She can entertain herself for hours, whether it's with toys or exploring her surroundings. She's full of goofy charm and will keep you laughing — especially when she's "arguing" with her favorite toy! Despite her playful side, Tati has a calm and affectionate nature when it's time to cuddle. She loves being picked up and held, making her the perfect mix of spunky and snuggly. Tati is building confidence as she explores the yard and new environments. She’s working on crate/potty training, and gets along wonderfully with kids, cats, and other dogs. Tati has had 2 vet visits, is spayed,, microchipped, vaccinated - DHPP x 2 (needs 2 more to be fully vaccinated and is included), Rabies & Bordetella x 2, a 4 DX test (testing for Lyme disease and two types of tick-borne illnesses), flea/tick/heartworm prevention (Nexgard Plus), 2 dewormings, and 2 fecal tests. Adopters will receive all original paperwork, a 14-day health guarantee, a collar, harness, leash, seatbelt lock, and a week's worth of food. Breed overview

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
