Dog Breed: Siberian Husky (medium coat). #A5729847 Meet Amelia The Gentle “Cotton Ball” Husky ❄️ Amelia is a beautiful, soft-hearted Husky who just needs someone to see the gentle soul behind her shy eyes. -5-year-old spayed female -Siberian Husky, black & white -33 lbs, petite with the softest, fluffiest coat -Arrived at Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 9/30/25 as a stray -Likely a retired mama: calm, mature, and soulful -Typical husky personality: independent but sweet once she trusts you -A bit aloof at first, but warms up with gentle patience (and butt scratches!) -Easy to leash and handle, though can be a little anxious -Responds well to calm handlers who give her time and reassurance -Seems fine with other dogs and takes treats gently -Would thrive with a person who can focus her energy through walks, structure, and love This sweet “retired mama” is a loyal, loving companion.
