Meet Rocko , a 15-year-old Pitbull with a sleek seal-grey coat, big soulful eyes (almost cartoonishly doe-like!), and a huge heart full of love . This gentle gentleman is a total cuddlebug - he’ll happily curl up beside you (or on you!) for belly rubs and all the quality time. Rocko is a smart cookie that knows his basics like “sit” and “come,” takes treats with the softest touch, and walks like a pro on leash. He’s looking for a calm, child-free home where he can soak up the love and enjoy his golden years in peace - ideally as your one and only, or with another calm, mellow pup. Surrendered through no fault of his own, Rocko is still full of life and has so much love to give - now all he needs is a cozy spot to call home. Will you take home this darling old man today? -15 year old grey and white Pitbull -55 pound male - has not been neutered due to age -up to date on all shots and preventatives, so ready to go home with you today! However, he will need to be adopted on a health waiver due to “happy tail” - when he wags his tail too excitedly that it bangs around and gets irritated - with adopter to follow up with own vet for further diagnostics and potential treatment -came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 8/30/25 as an owner surrender - but we have no notes and no idea why, as Rocko is the sweetest boy! -big ole hunk of lovin, with a sleek seal grey coat and big, soulful doe eyes that will absolutely steal your heart! -this handsome boy will cuddle close and even try to crawl into your lap for belly rubs - he just loves being close to his people, content to spend time together doing anything and everything -so a smart cookie - knows basic commands like sit and come, and could easily learn more with the right motivation -perfect gentleman - takes treats softly and daintily, no chomping here! -will do best in a calm and loving home with no children, and ideally with no other dogs, or other lower energy calm dogs only, so that he can enjoy his golden years in peace and comfort -great on leash, seems to be potty trained, and has a happy go lucky and calm personality that will easily fit into a variety of households -owner surrenders are always so sad, but especially at Rocko's age - he's warm and bright, and surprisingly springy for his age, but ultimately needs a soft place to land where he'll be loved and cherished exactly as he deserves ROCKO’S VIDEO: youtube/shorts/KkM For more information, contact volunteer Mike at mikeunitedhopeforanimals Photo Credit Look up this or other animals at Baldwin Park Animal Care Center animalcare.lacounty.gov/view-our-animals/ Use their unique ID NUMBER.
