Dog Breed: Terrier / Mixed. Available for Adoption! Meet Tito – Your Future Best Friend! Tito is a happy, fun, and energetic bundle of love looking for his forever home! While he has playful bursts of energy, Tito is also great at entertaining himself and enjoys his toys respectfully. This little guy is full of personality – smart, loyal, friendly, and always ready to make you laugh with his goofy antics. He's truly a joy to be around and brings happiness wherever he goes! Tito is currently learning basic commands like come, sit, off, and leave it. He’s also working on crate and potty training. Though he’s not leash trained just yet, he’s eager to learn and please his family. He gets along wonderfully with kids, cats, and other dogs, making him a great fit for just about any home. If you’re looking for a loving companion with a big heart and even bigger personality, Tito might be the perfect match for you! He has had 2 vet visits, is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated - DHPP x 2, (needs 2 more that is included) Rabies & Bordetella x 2. He’s had a 4 DX test (testing for Lyme disease and two types of tick-borne illnesses), flea/tick/heartworm prevention (Nexgard Plus), two dewormings, and 2 fecal test. Adopters will receive all original paperwork, a 14-day health guarantee, a collar, harness, leash, seatbelt lock, and a week's worth of food. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis and are by appointment only. We are located in Mesa near Gilbert/Brown & offer flexible hours for meet-and-greet appointments. A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
