Dog Breed: Poodle (Toy) / Chihuahua / Mixed. Adoption Fee: 450. Meet Emmett! Emmett is a pretty perfect puppy—curious, cuddly, and full of personality. He’s a 10-week-old (as of 8/5/25), ~5 lb 5 oz mini poodle mix. Like most puppies, he’s curious about everything and everyone! Emmett loves people and other dogs, big and small. He’s also intrigued by his foster cat siblings, though they aren’t quite as eager to play just yet. He’s affectionate, loves to cuddle, and gives the sweetest kisses. While he can be a little nervous in new situations (can’t we all relate?), Emmett adjusts quickly. He sleeps through the night without accidents, entertains himself beautifully—whether someone’s in the room or not—and is crate trained. Sometimes he’ll whine a bit when first going into his crate or playpen, but he settles down quickly. He’s learning to ring the bell to go “potty” and is doing an amazing job! He’s also figured out that the bell means “outside.” Emmett has gotten used to wearing a harness, sits politely at the door and before meals, and is starting to learn “come.” He’s not yet a big fan of walking on a leash, but he’s working on it—and when he runs or prances, it’s pure joy to watch. Emmett is up to date on vaccines and preventives and is neutered. Emmett is a special little guy who will bring warmth, fun, and love to his forever family. Could that be you?
