Dog Breed: Shih Tzu / Poodle (Miniature) / Mixed (medium coat). Gomez Addams is a 13 lb., 1.5- to 2-year-old, male, Shih Tzu/ Poodle mix. He came in as an owner surrender with three of his children. Gomez had not received any vet care previous to joining his foster family. He is just now learning house training and due to his not having been neutered, he has some marking behaviors, so he does wear a male diaper in the house. He has been neutered so the marking behavior should be minimal going forward. Gomez does have some separation anxiety which results in his being very vocal when he is left alone. We are looking for a very patient family that can help Gomez through his anxiety and help him learn to be the perfect indoor dog. He will need regular grooming, so his new family will need to be aware of the time and financial commitment involved.
