Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat). Wyatt is a Lab mix (with maybe a little Pointer or Hound flair) who’s all heart and personality! This sweet guy is still working on filling out his frame—he’s a bit underweight right now, but with some good food and TLC, he’ll be looking and feeling his best in no time. Wyatt starts his walks with plenty of enthusiasm (and a little pulling), but once he’s had a chance to stretch his legs, smell all the smells, and handle his business—which he does often!—he settles right in for a nice stroll. He’s a smart cookie who already knows how to sit, especially if there are treats involved. Wyatt is more into people than toys—he’d rather hang out and soak up love from his handler than chase a ball. But maybe once he's comfy in his new home, more of that playful spirit will come out. Wyatt would love a family that will include in daily walks as he's still a young pup that has energy to burn. If you’re looking for a loyal buddy who’ll keep you laughing and active, Wyatt might be your guy! This is really a “run report” for Wyatt. Wyatt is a young dog just 10 months old. He has lots of positive energy and he loves to run a play and fetch. He also loves to roll on back in the grass. Wyatt is nearly full grown, appears healthy and would make a WONDERFUL companion for an active or outdoorsy family. He was sitting quietly in his kennel when I noticed him. He immediately greeted me with excited yips and a play bow. We leashed up and off we went outside. The picture of Wyatt carrying his toy is his best advertisement. Wyatt is available to all adopters.
