Dog Breed: American Staffordshire Terrier / Mixed (medium coat). Lucky is a sweet, spry senior boy who is full of life! Lucky lives for the attention and will do just about anything for belly rubs. When he is being loved on, he tends to flop to the floor to show you his belly. Being 8 years old, we understand it may take Lucky a moment to find the right home, but we promise you, he will love you just as much as a puppy would! Lucky is experiencing typical things that come with aging - arthritis, lumps and bumps and hearing loss. He does not let any of this get in his way though. He is truly such a happy guy. Lucky is potty trained, crate trained and knows the cues “sit”, “stay”, “down”, “come” and “quiet”. He is very much a couch potato and a snuggler but is always happy to go on a nice stroll. Lucky also will act as your shadow and follow you everywhere! Lucky is said to do well with other dogs and kitties. Though this is great, it is important to still practice slow introductions! Please keep in mind that Lucky is not looking for a playmate, he will be happiest having the opportunity to hangout and relax with his people each day.
