Dog Breed: American Bulldog / Mixed (medium coat). Hey there! I’m Lenny, a handsome red-coated boy with a heart as big as my tail wags — and trust me, that tail never stops! Today was my Shelter Paws, and I had the best day full of walks, cuddles, and new friends. First stop: the car ride! I hopped right in, tail thumping against the seat, ready to roll. I love riding in the car — it’s like a moving adventure where I get to watch the world zoom by. My human said I was such a good boy, and I totally agree. We went to the park, and oh wow, it smelled amazing! I met some new people and my chaperone's child — I was super gentle and sweet, because I know little ones need calm energy. My tail was wagging the whole time, of course. I also walked near some other dogs, and I did great! I love seeing new furry friends out and about. Now, I’ll be honest… I could use a little help with my leash manners. Sometimes I get so excited that I pull ahead — there’s just so much to explore! But I promise I’m eager to learn. The best part of the day? Definitely the pup cup and the cuddles. Ohhh, the cuddles. I could snuggle all day long if you’d let me. When I’m done playing and exploring, I love curling up close, soaking up all the love I can get. I’m playful when it’s time for fun, calm when it’s time to relax — the perfect balance if you ask me. By the end of the day, I was happy, relaxed, and still wagging my tail. I just loved being out with my new friends, feeling the sun on my fur and the kindness all around me.
