Dog Breed: Cavalier King Charles Spaniel / Chihuahua / Mixed. Bob is a sweet little 2-year-old, 13-lb boy who’s equal parts snuggle bug and goofball. We are unsure of breed and most frequent guess has been maybe a Cavalier King Charles /Chihuahua mix. He is potty trained, pee-pad trained, and crate trained, a total gentleman in the house with no destructive habits or chewing. He prefers to do his business outside but will use potty pads if needed. Leashes are still pretty scary for Bob; he likely never experienced one before coming into rescue. Right now, he’s enjoying the freedom of a fenced yard where he can run and play (and bounce like a bunny according to his foster mom). His foster family is giving him time to build trust before working on leash training, and he’s making great progress! A fenced yard would be best for Bob, so he has the time he needs to get comfortable in his new environment before working on the leash. Bob can be a bit shy at first, but once he feels safe, he’s incredibly affectionate. He loves to be petted, scratched, and cuddled, and he’ll often come up for love especially if another dog is getting attention first! He still gets nervous when approached, but happily comes to you when you sit down. ❤️ He also enjoys chew toys, playing in the yard, and curling up with his foster family. While he was initially unsure of his much larger foster dog sibling (and a bit protective of his person), he quickly adjusted and now enjoys playtime together. Overall, Bob is a submissive, gentle, happy little soul ready to find his forever home. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who just wants to love and be loved, Bob is your guy!
