Dog Breed: Chihuahua / Mixed. LOOKING FOR A GREAT HOME: Approx. 9 years old / Approx. 11 lbs. & needs to gain weight Hi there, I’m Kale! I wasn’t in a great situation before, so I was really glad when Mostly Mutts was able to help me. Now I’m safe, well cared for, and ready to find a wonderful forever home where I can start my next happy chapter! I’ve just gone into a foster home so there will be more information about me coming soon. • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I haven’t met other dogs at Mostly Mutts yet, so let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that may fall on me. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: The volunteers report that I’m a super sweet boy! I was a little shy and nervous when I first arrived — there have been a lot of changes in my life — but give me just a minute, and you’ll see my gentle, loving side shine through. I was so sweet for my bath, nail trim, and even my photo shoot! I’m a bit underweight right now, so some extra yummy meals and nice walks will help me gain weight and build my muscles back up to my big boy strength. Oh, and you might notice in my pictures that I have the cutest little nubby tail! I’ve also been known to try a bit of door-dashing here at Mostly Mutts, so please keep an eye on me as I wouldn’t want to get lost or hurt./ Energy Level: 3-5. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I don’t seem to know any commands yet, but I’m sure you can teach me some! Maybe even with tasty treats to help me gain weight! / I did pretty well in a little room at Mostly Mutts as being in the larger room in a crate was pretty stressful for me. / I’ve had very few accidents on the shelter schedule, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home, too. • LIKES/DISLIKES: Once I know you, I’m all about the snuggles! I love cuddling up close, being held, and curling up in laps. Belly rubs are my absolute favorite — here’s my tummy, please rub it! / I’m frightened when folks go too fast with me, so just give me a little time to get to know and love you! I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, some exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I’ve just had a dental cleaning, thanks to Mostly Mutts, so my mouth is fresh again — don’t worry, not the sassy talking-back kind of fresh … just the minty, kiss-approved kind — lol! I’m an older guy, so I’m on an over-the-counter Cosequin tablet which is good for all seniors. I’m ready for a great home where I’ll get all the love and great care that was missing previously. My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
