Then meet Dotty, a cuddly 10-month-old female puppy ready to become your masterpiece! Dotty isn't just a pretty face; she's a champion snuggler and a true connoisseur of comfort. Her ideal day involves a rigorous schedule of: • Couch Cuddles: She's a professional-grade snuggle monster. • Family Pile-ups: She loves cozying up with her humans and her dog sister. • Feline Friends: She’s purr-fectly polite and great around her kitty foster siblings. • Solar Power: A little sunbathing session is a must to recharge her adorable batteries. But here’s the kicker: when it's time to sleep, Dotty transforms into a surrealist work of art. Her preferred sleeping position is on her back, twisted into the most bizarre, gravity-defying shapes—truly a Picasso Pup! You'll never tire of waking up to her hilarious, abstract forms. She’s already a fantastic roommate to her fur sister and foster kitty siblings! She’s mostly potty trained and does great in her crate through the night. Apply today and make this hilarious, brilliant pup a permanent fixture in your home! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
