Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Meet Blue Magenta! This sweet 10-month-old pup was rescued from Manhattan ACC after being surrendered for a treatable skin condition—mange. While mange is completely curable, her former owner couldn’t give her the care she needed. When she first arrived, her skin was swollen and nearly bald… but her spirit never wavered. Now, just a short time later, her fur is growing back beautifully, her skin looks so much better, and she’s blossoming into the adorable, happy girl she was meant to be. Blue Magenta is great with dogs, cats, and kids—and we just know her forever family is out there waiting for her. All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, de-wormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heart-worm tested, and treated if necessary. Vet references and a home/family visit are required, and an adoption fee applies. Transport options are available within our area of operation, including Pennsylvania, the tri-state area, and New England. Please note we do not adopt animals into Canada.
