After being found roaming the streets of Downtown Dallas, Rico was taken in by a kind couple who gave him temporary shelter. He quickly bonded with their two dogs, showing his affectionate and social nature. Rico thrives on connection -- he adores other dogs, delights in sunbathing, enjoys playful toy sessions, and loves leisurely walks. Rico would flourish in a home where he can continue to grow emotionally and physically, surrounded by love and companionship. Our dogs are also heartworm negative (or we will cover their treatment). Rico is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM
