Dog Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: 250. Hi, I’m Chucky. Someone dropped me and my 6 siblings off at the shelter when we were only 8 weeks young. I spent two months there. Everyone says I’m very calm for a puppy. I just really like to snuggle. If you have room for a couch potato or want to hold and carry me, I’m game! But I also love to play with my toys, or roll around in the grass and run through the yard! I went for my first walk in the park the other day. At first I was scared, but my 14 year old chiweenie foster sister, let me lean on her and helped me through the first lap. After that I had a lot of fun, met people and even some other dogs. My foster mom says that I’m really good and gentle with my foster (dog) sister and that’s why she likes me. I just read her body language and understand when she wants to be left alone. When I first meet you I may seem scared but that’s because I’m new to all of this. All I’ve known so far were my siblings and the people at the shelter. I really want to be held and I will give you kisses if you just give me a second. My foster parents say I’m just a tiny baby, because I’m only 11 pounds, but I really am a big boy. After all I do sleep through the night in my kennel for at least 8 hours without having accidents. A baby couldn’t do that. If you want to rub my belly and snuggle me, I’d love to meet you! I promise to truly be your friend till the end! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
