Description
Dog Breed: Shih Tzu / Cavalier King Charles Spaniel / Mixed. Meet Ushi! Ushi is a sweet 14-year-old Shih Tzu/Cavalier mix with a gentle soul and a big heart. He’s in great health and up to date on all his vaccinations. This handsome boy is friendly with both people and other dogs, and he loves a good adventure—especially if there’s food involved! Despite his age, Ushi still enjoys exploring, but he’s also perfectly content to relax by your side. He’s very well-behaved, completely house-trained, and has no problem being left alone for periods of time. Ushi recently got a fresh haircut (he’s normally a fluffy black-and-white cutie!) and doesn’t shed. Ushi truly is a wonderful companion who deserves a loving home to enjoy his golden years. Breed overview
Overview:
The Cava-Tzu is a delightful crossbreed, combining the affectionate nature of the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with the spirited charm of the Shih Tzu. Originating from a desire for a friendly, companion-focused dog, this designer breed typically inherits a beautiful, soft coat that can range from medium to long, often in various color combinations, and boasts an endearing, expressive face. Physically, they are small to medium-sized, generally weighing between 10-20 pounds. Temperamentally, Cava-Tzus are known for being incredibly sweet-natured, playful, and devoted to their families, making them excellent companions for almost anyone. Their adaptable personality means they thrive in both apartment living and homes with yards, fitting seamlessly into various family dynamics, including those with children and other pets. While generally robust, potential health considerations can include those common to their parent breeds, such as certain eye conditions, patellar luxation, or heart murmurs, making regular veterinary check-ups essential. Overall, the Cava-Tzu is a loving, low-shedding (though requiring regular grooming) companion perfect for those seeking a gentle and engaging canine friend.
