Dog Breed: Rat Terrier / Jack Russell Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Lillie is a sweet terrier who is looking for a home. She came from one of our partner rescues in Louisiana, and is now in a NJ foster home. Lillie can be shy at first with new people and dogs, but she gets over it quickly. She warmed up to her foster mom and dad, and is now very sweet with them and the other dogs. She will need someone who is willing to be patient and can give her a little time and TLC. It is worth the wait! Watching a dog blossom is a unique and amazing process. Lillie came off the transport to NJ and almost immediately is at home in her foster home. She enjoys using a doggie door to go in and out at will. She has been playing with the other dogs, and loves to run and chase and be chased. She has warmed up to kids (with treats). Lillie enjoys going for walks, and she likes to sleep under the covers at night. Lillie is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. She tested negative for heartworm disease. Her adoption fee is $450. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy, and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through, they deserve a loving, committed home. Apply to adopt wag-on-inn.
