Indy (Indiana Jones): The Affectionate Adventure Companion Age: 5 years Weight: 70 lbs Breed: Spaniel Mix Meet Indy, a smart and handsome boy who is ready to be your co-pilot for life. Indy is gentle, trusting, and highly intelligent. He already knows a long list of commands, including sit, lay down, off, wait, and leave it. He rides well in cars, is completely house trained, and sleeps soundly all night in his crate. His favorite way to wind down is with a game of tug followed by a deep, snore-filled sleep. The Indy Essentials: - Loves: Forehead kisses, using his amazing nose on long "sniffy" walks, and checking in on his favorite people. - Good With: Children (has lived with them before) and other dogs (will need to be introduced before adoption). - Needs: A home with a high-fenced yard (he's long-legged!) and a cat-free environment. - Ideal Family: People who are physically sturdy and comfortable managing a strong, 70-lb. dog on walks. A Note on Training: Like any smart dog, Indy is a work-in-progress. He barks at people at a distance, but he is highly trainable, eager to please, and already showing progress with consistent guidance. He is very willing to work through his insecurities, especially if a string cheese is involved! Indy is a deeply in-tune and loving soul, ready and waiting for his forever family.
