Dog Breed: Australian Shepherd / Mixed. Meet Cora! Cora is a 2-year-old Australian Shepherd with a heart as beautiful as her coat. This sweet, calm girl will quickly become your loyal shadow—she loves to be near her person and follow along wherever you go. Cora may be deaf or hard of hearing, but that doesn’t slow her down one bit! She’s a smart girl who’s learned to respond to hand signals and body language. She walks nicely on a leash and takes comfort in simply being part of your daily routine. Cora gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and kids alike. She’s crate trained, house trained, and even knows how to use a doggy door. Her ideal home would be one filled with love, patience, and a cozy spot by your side—because that’s exactly where she wants to be. If you’re looking for a gentle, loyal companion who will love you unconditionally, Cora is your girl. Applications can be filled out at .piedmontanimalrescue/adopt! Petfinder and Adopt-A-Pet does NOT send us Applications. We receive many applications and many never respond after processing GREATLY delaying the pets forever home. Please only apply if you are serious about adopting. Please also make sure your pets are up to date on you species applicable Vaccines (rabies, Distemper/Parvo, FVRCP, Bordetella), spayed/neutered, and on Heartworm prevention if a canine. The adoption fee includes their age appropriate vaccinations(DA2PP and Bordetella), Dewormer, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test as well as the registration of their microchip information to you. The first step to adopting is to fill out an application for adoption. Once approved we will arrange a time for you to meet the animal you are interested in. If it is a match the adoption can then be completed and you can take home your new furry family member. If it is not a match we will file your approved application and you can wait till you find the perfect match.
