Dog Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed. *Name: Junior *Age: 1 year old *Current Weight: 59lbs *Rescued from: Georgia *Adoption fee: $475 (plus $150 spay/neuter deposit, see below for more information) Meet Junior! Junior recently found himself stuck in an overcrowded shelter in rural Georgia, where he was running out of time. Our local rescue partner knew he deserved a second chance and connected us with him so he could be rescued just in time. Now, Junior is safe in foster and is on his way to a brighter future — hopefully with you in it! Junior is a one-year-old bundle of joy who hasn’t let his rough start dampen his spirit. Despite his 60-pound frame, he’s 100% convinced he’s a lap dog. He lives for affection, snuggles, belly scratches, and being as close to his people as possible. His happy-go-lucky personality makes him an instant friend to everyone he meets — human or canine! Whether he’s making new friends, romping around the yard, enjoying a new dog toy or flopping over for belly rubs, Junior is just soaking up the second chance he’s been given. He’ll be heading up to New York soon in search of a forever family who will give him all the love he so willingly gives in return. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a heart of gold (and the world's best cuddle skills), Junior might just be your perfect match. IMPORTANT: This dog has not yet been altered. SNARR requires a $150 deposit in addition to your adoption fee, as well as a strictly enforced Spay/Neuter Contract stating you will have this dog altered within 6 months of adoption.
