Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Cattle Dog / Mixed. Hi, I’m Donna. You wouldn’t believe my backstory if I could tell it myself. I found myself at the shelter in Bakersfield, after being removed from the shelter I was passed from one person to another, and even spent time living on a horse farm in a barn. Then, a kind woman in Ohio noticed me and reached out to a trainer with Forte. Thanks to her, I’m finally safe—and now I’m searching for my forever home. I’m a sweet and soulful girl who just wants to please. I’ll be your best travel buddy (Car rides? YES PLEASE), walk buddy, and really—your wherever-you-go buddy. I love to chill in the sun, relax at home, and go on long walks by your side. I get excited to see other dogs and I really enjoy making friends with them. I'm also healthy and have all my vaccines. I'm getting spayed on November 17th. My life is already getting better! If you meet me, I’ll gaze right into your eyes with my big brown ones, and I think you’ll feel it too—I’m ready to be your best friend forever.
