Description

Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed. Denver affectionately called Den-Den by his foster mom, is a super friendly young dog. We think he may be around a year old at the most. He loves hanging out with his foster family and is always ready for a walk. He walks well on a leash and enjoys walks in the neighborhood and sniffing out all the smells in the woods. He likes water and will take a quick dip in the pond at every opportunity. It is apparent that Denver is a smart boy and eager to learn. He does a lot of checking in. It's as if he's asking "Like this? Am I doing good?" He also gives the sweetest hugs that will just warm your heart. He has been great with all the dogs in the foster home from puppies to seniors. He has been with kids as young as 9, but we think he'd do fine with kids of any age. Denver can be crated, but it is not his favorite thing. He would much rather hang out with his humans and other furry friends. He wants to know what's going on and where his people are. He'll stick close and watch you as you move about the house. He's a great snuggler and quick to curl up with you on the couch to watch some tv or read a book. He hasn't bothered the cats in his foster home
