Dog Breed: German Shepherd Dog (medium coat). Meet Savannah, a pint-sized Shepherd mix Savannah is the kind of dog who wins you over the moment she locks eyes with you — and she will gaze right into your soul with those gentle, trusting eyes. At about 40 pounds, she’s the perfect medium size: easy to handle on leash and ready to join you on any adventure. Savannah is a lovely balance of playful and sweet. She loves chasing a ball (even if she sometimes forgets to bring it back!) and romping around the yard with her canine friends. She knows “come” and “sit,” and she’s currently working on “down” — smart, eager, and always ready to learn with a wag of her tail. What truly makes Savannah special is her soft, kind spirit. She takes comfort in calm voices and gentle hands, and once she feels your warmth, she’ll happily melt right into you. Whether it’s a cozy cuddle or a stroll around the block, she just wants to be by your side. Savannah would thrive in a loving home where she can enjoy playtime, daily walks, and plenty of affection. If you’re looking for a medium-energy companion who’s equal parts fun and tender-hearted, Savannah just might be your perfect match. Savannah has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in her new home. She's also sharing her shelter suite with a friend she met at the shelter.
