Email: ddrtxinfogmail Primary Website: .DDRTX Meet Holly Maple Holly is a 5-year-old dapple Miniature Dachshund with the most stunning starburst blue eyes you’ve ever seen. At about 15 pounds, she’s the perfect size for snuggling on the couch or keeping you company around the house. This little lady has a calm, gentle nature and is happiest just being near her person—whether that’s curled up next to you on the couch or snoozing in a dog bed by your side. She’s potty trained with a dog door (though like any pup, she may need a short adjustment period in a new home). Holly gets along well with other small dogs but isn’t especially playful—she’s more of a quiet companion than a playmate. She’s curious about cats and hasn’t met any big dogs yet. When you come home, though, she’ll show her excitement with the cutest dachshund “tippy taps” you’ve ever seen! During the day, Holly enjoys sunbathing, and at night she loves to curl up in the big bed with her person—but if you forget to lift her up, she’s just as content to sleep in her cozy dog bed on the floor. Holly can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but she bonds quickly and deeply once she feels safe. She attached to her foster mom in no time and can’t wait to find her forever family to love just as much. Love dachshunds and not ready to adopt or circumstances won't permit having a dog?
