Dog Breed: Beagle / Mixed. Adoption Fee: $300.00. Kenobi's story began on a busy Mississippi road where he was found tied to a sign outside of a restaurant with a note stating he needed a home. Thankfully some kind people stepped in and brought him to safety. After several days of no one coming forward to claim Kenobi, our wonderful contacts in Mississippi secured a local foster home for him where he has been loved and cared for since. Kenobi has bonded closely with the teenage boy in his foster home and loves to curl up in his bed at night. Kenobi is very affectionate. He also gets along well with the resident cocker spaniel. He seems to be afraid of the cat and gives her plenty of space! He was pretty skinny at intake but is looking so much better. He does occasionally show a slight limp from what the vet says is an old injury, but once he gets moving, you’d hardly notice it—especially when he’s running joyfully around the yard. He's done superbly with housetraining and doesn't mind being in his crate while his foster family is at work or school. Kenobi is heartworm negative, neutered, and fully vaccinated. He arrives in Florida on 10/24 and will be ready for his sleepover!
