Midnight is the definition of gentle — especially with kids. He’s been around little ones and even a senior Dachshund, and he’s nothing but kind and respectful with everyone he meets. Midnight is a total social butterfly. Whether it’s neighbors on his morning walk or strangers at the park, he greets everyone like a long-lost friend. He’s confident, curious, and full of personality — but he also has a stubborn streak that keeps things interesting! If he decides he’s not going somewhere, he’ll plant those paws and hold his ground. Like any growing pup, Midnight is still in his chewing phase (paper seems to be his favorite target right now!), but impressively, he’s left shoes alone — even when temptation is right in front of him. He’s not a lap-dog snuggler, but he loves to stay close. When you nap, he’ll curl up at the end of your bed, perfectly content just being near his people. He’s working on getting used to brushing — though he currently thinks the brush is a toy and insists on biting it the entire time. Midnight recently completed treatment for Giardia, which is common in puppies and fully treatable. He’s feeling great and ready to find his forever family! His future family will need to return him to one of our approved partner vets for his remaining two sets of vaccines and neuter when he’s old enough.
