Dog Breed: Shepherd / Retriever / Mixed. Adoption Fee: 600. Clifford was rescued from under a vacant house with his brothers and sisters. When he was found, he was hungry, covered in fleas, and even had a few flea bites on his little neck — but despite his rough start, this fluffy boy is all smiles now. Clifford is playful, goofy, and full of personality. He loves toys, loves water, and loves being part of the action. Watching him run with his short little legs and fluffy coat is guaranteed to make you laugh. He’s a sweet baby who’s eager to learn and will be easy to teach with time and consistency. He’s still working on potty training (sometimes he forgets, especially at night), but he’s just a puppy learning the ropes. With patience and love, he’ll figure it out in no time. Clifford’s a happy, affectionate little guy who’s ready to grow up in a home where he can play, learn, and be loved for the silly, lovable pup he is. Clifford is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 11/8/2025 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 9am and noon. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Since they haven’t arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start’s Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Click here to learn more about the FTA program. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start’s veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
