Description
Dog Breed: Brittany (medium coat). Meet Maximus — or Max, the Life of the Party! Hi there! I’m Maximus (aka Max) — a 1.6-year-old, 40 lb, orange-and-white Brittany bursting with love, fun, and puppy energy! I’m neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm and tick negative, and on prevention — in other words, healthy and ready for my forever family! ✨ A few things about me: I’m a happy-go-lucky bundle of joy who never runs out of smiles (or wiggles). Toys? I love them all! Balls, squeakies, tug ropes — I’m your playmate extraordinaire. I adore playing with other dogs and people, and I’ll soak up every ounce of attention you give me. I’m smart, loving, and full of life — the perfect sidekick for adventures or lazy cuddles. I do need a physical fenced yard (at least 5 ft) — I like to zoom, play chase, and keep the yard “critter-free!” If you’re searching for a fun-loving, affectionate, and endlessly entertaining boy, look no further — Max is your guy! Let’s make every day a new adventure together. The adoption fee for OK/Maximus aka Max, who lives in Tulsa, OK is $400, which helps to offset our vetting and allows NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members. If you are interested in making OK/Maximus part of your family, please complete the online application by visiting .nbran . Please let your state coordinator know so we can get the ball rolling. Also, please email the state coordinator of OK/Maximus-Melinde Waddle macgammygmail Once approved by your state coordinator, I will setup talking to the foster of Maximus. Overview:
The Brittany is a beloved and versatile gun dog, originating from the Brittany province of France in the 17th century. These medium-sized dogs are instantly recognizable by their athletic build, often appearing leggy and agile, with a dense, flat or wavy coat that comes in orange and white, or liver and white. Their intelligent and eager-to-please nature makes them incredibly trainable and responsive. Temperamentally, Brittanys are known for being friendly, energetic, and affectionate, making them excellent companions for active families. While their moderate size might suggest apartment living, their high energy levels and need for regular exercise mean they thrive best in homes with a yard or access to plenty of outdoor space. Generally a healthy breed, they can be predisposed to certain conditions like hip and elbow dysplasia, and sometimes epilepsy, so responsible breeding practices are crucial. With proper training and socialization, a Brittany will undoubtedly enrich the lives of its devoted family.
