Description
Dog Breed: Chihuahua (short coat). Sage is a Chihuahua mix. She will need a special family to care for her. She has an upcoming surgery for her leg and will need recovery time before she is ready for a new forever home. She will need a fenced yard. Her adoption fee is $375 which includes spay, microchipped and vaccination. We are located in the Colorado Springs area. All adoptions require a home visit. Despite their tiny stature, Chihuahuas possess a big personality; they are often described as spirited, alert, and fiercely loyal to their owners, sometimes displaying a bold and confident demeanor. While their small size makes them exceptionally well-suited for apartment living, they thrive in homes where they receive ample attention and mental stimulation. They can be good family pets for older children who understand how to interact gently with a small dog, but their delicate build makes them less suitable for boisterous toddlers.
