She was matted and dirty Foster location: Dreamweaver Farms, Pacolet SC Special Needs? Chewy is spayed, up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative. Chewy was found as a stray so we have absolutely no history on her pre-rescue. Our best guess is that she is a standard poodle mix. We cannot guarantee that she is hypoallergenic or that she won't shed. Weight: 55 lbs Height: 25 in Spayed/Neutered: Yes Adoption Fee: $699 Fence needed? Yes, Chewy requires a physically fenced yard with fencing 4 feet or taller. What kind of home would be best for me? We think Chewy would do well in most home settings, as long as she has plenty of room to stretch her legs and enjoy some outdoor fun. She’d be perfectly happy as an only dog or sharing her home with another friendly canine. And with her gentle, kind-hearted personality, we believe Chewy would be wonderful with children too. What is my personality like? Chewy is a beautiful Standard Poodle mix with a heart as big as her smile. She’s loving, sweet, and full of life — the kind of dog who greets every day (and every person) with enthusiasm and joy. Chewy gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and has a natural playfulness that makes her a favorite companion in any doggy group. True to her poodle smarts, Chewy is eager to please and a quick learner. She’ll benefit from some basic training in manners and leash walking, but with her bright mind and gentle nature, she’ll pick things up fast. She loves attention, thrives on affection, and simply wants to be by your side no matter what the day brings. Chewy is an absolute delight. She'll great you with a big smile and an open heart. Other tips and tidbits: Chewy was found as a stray so we have absolutely no history on her. The shelter estimated her at 2 years old. We celebrate her birthday 09/28/23. House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule. Please note - we do not ship dogs.
