Say hello to Mateo — a 1-year-old, 10-pound Shih Tzu with the happiest little heart you’ll ever meet! Mateo is a joyful, outgoing pup who loves everyone he meets. Whether it’s playtime, snuggle time, or just hanging out, Mateo’s tail is always wagging! He’s a smart boy too — he already knows how to use the dog door and is eager to keep learning new things. This cheerful little guy would fit right into almost any loving home. He’s friendly, fun, and full of love — the perfect companion for anyone looking for a loyal best friend. If you’re ready for endless smiles and wagging tails, Mateo is waiting to meet you! Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for his entire life (up to 15+ years or more.) You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. His adoption fee is $350. This includes his neuter surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccination, Nobivac® Intra-Trac 3 vaccination, Drontal® Plus, IDEXX SNAP® 1Dx Test, Tri-Heart® Plus chewable tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar. Our adoption events are held every other Saturday at Petco located in the Northwoods Shopping Center at 18138 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio TX 78232. Our group focuses on assisting open admission shelters in South Texas where over 32,000 dogs and cats are euthanized each year. Our puppies and dogs are completely vetted and live in foster homes. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and tested for heartworm disease. All adoptions include one month of flea and heartworm preventative and a leash and collar.
