Shelter life feels overwhelming to her right now, but behind those cautious eyes is a gentle heart just waiting to bloom. She isn’t quite ready to show off her playful, silly side yet, but she’s already shown glimpses of sweetness — leaning in softly when offered quiet affection and watching people with curiosity and hope.We’re giving Jade the time and space she needs to learn that hands can bring comfort, voices can be kind, and new friends can be trusted. With patience, a calm environment, and a compassionate adopter, Jade will have the chance to come out of her shell and show the loving, loyal dog we know she can be.If you have an understanding heart and a peaceful home, Jade may be the one to reward you with the most meaningful kind of love — the love that’s earned through trust. She wasn’t ready to play, but we hope that as she gets more experience in our shelter playgroups, she’ll be ready to show us her silly side with other dogs. Looking for a buddy for your dog? Check out her playgroup video here: To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too.
