Jack formerly known as Nikola needs a foster or adopter Jack is a ~4-month-old, 10–12 lb Puerto Rico pup who looks like a Schnauzer/Terrier mix (but he could be anything — he’s just cute!). He blossomed within days in his foster home and is deep in his ✨Puppy Era✨: curious, sweet, and ready to follow you anywhere. He loves exploring outside, car rides, zoomies after naps, and then curling up for a cozy snooze. Jack sleeps through the night, is doing amazing with potty habits, enjoys his kennel as a safe space, and is learning leash walking (still a little timid with loud noises but more curious than scared). He’s small so he likes things “on his level” so can be timid at first but he’s a curious guy! He adores squeaky toys, rope chews, and being near his people. Shy for a day or two, but once he feels safe his playful spunk shines. Great with kids (toddler approved ), gentle with cats (he just wants to be their friend and play), and doesn’t seem to mind the neighborhood dogs much.
