Description
Dog Breed: Cattle Dog / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: $300.00. Hi! I'm Bingo Heeler (just like Bluey's little sister) a cute Australian cattle dog mix puppy looking for my forever home. If you like soft puppy fur, super cute freckles, and love playtime I'm the pup for you! Fast facts: I’m good with kids but my jumpy puppy energy may not be ideal for families with small children. I get along great with dogs of every size. I'm friendly and curious. I'm working on leash and potty training but I'm smart and learning fast so a family who can be consistent and patient with helping me learn puppy manners would be great. The best guess is that I'm likely to be 35-45 pounds fully grown. I am high energy puppy who needs regular walks and training to thrive. Not sure about cats but I'm so young and friendly there's potential. I am super affectionate and give LOTS of kisses to dogs and humans. I will go in my kennel when you leave the house if you give me a treat and sleep there all night long like the best girl ever! Apply to meet me at bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
