Description
Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / Pointer / Mixed. Queen Regina truly lives up to her royal name! This beautiful, large girl has overcome a tough start in life. When she first arrived, she was severely malnourished and unsure of the world around her. But with love, care, and good meals at CCRC, she’s blossomed into the confident, affectionate queen she was always meant to be. Now thriving in her foster home, Queen Regina is being spoiled (as every queen should be!) by her devoted foster mom. She’s learning that people are kind, that soft beds are meant for snuggles, and that life is full of good things like treats, belly rubs, and outdoor adventures. Queen Regina is looking for a forever family who will continue showing her all the love and positivity she deserves. She’d do best in a home that will cherish her gentle spirit, keep her well-fed, and make her feel safe and adored every day. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a loyal companion with a heart of gold, Queen Regina would love to meet you. Give this royal lady the happy ending she’s been waiting for! We do not have a facility for you to visit. You are welcome to email ccrcdogsccrcdogs with specific questions, but please complete the online application, which can be found at .ccrcdogs, to secure your position in line for one of our dogs. You can also find a description of our process on that same page. Puppies will not be available to be seen until their 10-day quarantine has passed. Our adoption fees are listed on our website and cover the cost of the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots and tests, medications to bring the dog to full health, and a free visit with one of our approved vets after adoption. Most dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers so there is often very little known about their history or current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. CCRC has a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this, and we have trainers who will offer free phone/email support.
