Description
Dog Breed: Terrier / Mixed. Meet Trooper – The Bravest Snugglebug Around! Hi there, I’m Trooper, and my name says it all! Despite being shot in the leg (yep, it was as painful as it sounds), I’ve been healing like a champ and never once let it dim my tail-wagging spirit. I may have had a tough start, but you’d never know it from my joyful zoomies and endless love for cuddles. I absolutely adore other dogs and would love a playful furry friend in my new home. Tag is my all-time favorite game — I’ve got the moves! And when it’s time to slow down, I’m a professional snuggler and world-class couch companion. I’m looking for a forever family who sees me not just for where I’ve been, but for the bright and loving pup I am today. Loyal, sweet, and brave — I’m ready to bring joy, heart, and a whole lot of cuddles into your life. Come meet me — I’m your little warrior with a big heart, and I can’t wait to love you. He is neutered, dewormed, microchipped, current with all vaccines (as appropriate for his age) and on flea and heartworm prevention. Trooper is currently being fostered in South Carolina. ADOPT TROOPER! .LuckyPupRescueSC The adoption fee is $375.00 and we require a vet check and home visit.

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
