Description
Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (medium coat). Hi! Iâm Toothless! Iâm a puppy which means everything is new and exciting and smells amazing! The world is so big and full of friends. I love everyone!! People, dogs, cats, squirrels, the mail carrier, even the vacuum (itâs loud, but maybe it just wants to play too?). When I see someone new, my tail goes crazy. I canât help it, it just wiggles and wags all by itself! I run up to say hello, give kisses, and maybe nibble on their shoelaces a little (Iâm still learning). Every sound makes my ears perk up, every leaf is a toy, and every puddle is a place to splash. I love cuddles, belly rubs, and hearing people laugh. If you smile at me, Iâll probably flop onto my back right away because belly rubs are the best thing ever. I just want to make everyone happy. The world feels like one big adventure, and I canât wait to meet every single person and sniff every single thing!

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
