Description
Dog Breed: Siberian Husky (medium coat). To adopt or for more information, please visit TaysiaBlue Hi there! I'm a surprise addition to the cheese and cracker litter, a crumb named Cheez-It!! The field I was found in was pretty scary, but my foster family has done a great job making me feel loved and comfortable. I sometimes have a crumby first impression when meeting dogs for the first time in my foster home, but I'm getting much better at that. Foster Mom doesn't allow me to act dominant, so I'm starting to lose that desire to try. In doing so, I've found I REALLY like to play!!! Oh my dog....zoomies are unbelievably FUN!!!!!!!! I love having open space to run and jumping over another dog mid run is absolutely no issue at all. Put me in agility!!!!!!!!!! I quickly figured out that being a soggy crumb in the house is no fun and also not allowed.....so I've got this potty training thing down pretty well by now. I am also crate trained, sleep in my cracker box all night without issue. I have never met a cat in foster care, but I sure do well with my foster kids!!! I really just want to be loved and appreciated. Can you be the one to help me forget my crumby past and give me the brightest future??? Apply to meet me today!!! Cheez-It Crumb Dog!!! Overview:
The Siberian Husky is a striking and beloved breed, originating from Northeast Asia where they were bred by the Chukchi people for pulling sleds over long distances in harsh conditions. Physically, they are easily recognizable by their medium size, thick double coat (available in various colors and markings), and often captivating blue or bi-colored eyes. Their temperament is typically friendly, outgoing, and playful, making them generally good with children and other dogs. However, their independent and sometimes stubborn nature, coupled with a strong prey drive, means consistent training and secure containment are essential. While affectionate, their high energy levels and need for significant exercise make them less suitable for sedentary lifestyles or tiny apartments; a house with a securely fenced yard is often preferred. Health-wise, they are generally robust but can be prone to certain conditions like hip and elbow dysplasia and eye problems such as cataracts and progressive retinal atrophy. Overall, a Siberian Husky thrives with active families committed to meeting their exercise and mental stimulation needs.
