But now, at 9 years old, their world has been turned upside down. Their owner could no longer keep them, and the only home they've ever known is gone. They're both under 8lbs - so small you could scoop them up in your arms - and they'd let you. They're house-trained, friendly with other dogs, and are easy going companions. They can be talkative, must mostly to remind you that they're still here, still waiting to be loved again. Romeo and Juliet deserved to spend their golden years the way they've spent every day before this - together.
