Dog Breed: Poodle (Standard) / Mixed. Kitty has come come a long way after coming to our rescue partners severely underweight. She’s settling in beautifully at her foster home and showing her gentle, loving personality more each day. Kitty is about 90% house trained when kept on a regular schedule and is getting more comfortable with her crate. She’s calm and relaxed indoors, not a barker, and has a moderate energy level — she enjoys her walks and playtime but is just as happy to curl up and relax. She’s learning to trust new people and will need a patient adopter who can give her time to warm up. Once she feels safe, Kitty loves nothing more than being close to her humans. She’s wonderful on leash and truly enjoys her daily walks. Her foster mom says Kitty’s favorite thing is napping on her dog bed nearby while she works — so a home where someone is around more often than not would be perfect for her. One little note: Kitty’s been known to “help” with counter cleanup, so best to keep those surfaces clear! If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal companion who just wants to be by your side, Kitty is ready to steal your heart. This dog is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered.
